Exposed aggregate concrete is the process of hand seeding any type of aggregate into the surface of freshly placed concrete and finishing it into the concrete and exposing it using surface retarder. Exposed aggregate concrete gives the designer or owner the opportunity to make a design more project specific. There are no limits to the design capabilities with aggregates such as shells, recycled glass marble and granite.
